Doctor William Anthony Sodeman has been a faculty member of the University of Toledo, College of Medicine since 1991 and a Lecturer-in-Law at the University of Toledo, College of Law since 1998. He is a graduate of the University of Missouri (B.A., 1956), the University of Pennsylvania (M.D., 1960) and the University of Toledo (J.D., 1997).

He teaches Medicine for Lawyers, Transactional Health Law and Shakespeare for Lawyers.

He is a member of the Division of Hepatology in the Department of Internal Medicine at the College of Medicine where his prime responsibility is the development of a fellowship training program for the Divisions of Hepatology and Gastroenterology. Dr. Sodeman is board certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology and is a licensed physician in Ohio and Louisiana. He has been admitted to the Ohio Bar. He was a partner in the health care law firm, Sodeman, Kirkhope and Woodson, LLP.
