Course Prerequisites

Each student shall have successfully completed the course in Evidence.  For court appearances and client representation in Ohio placements, students need the Ohio Supreme Court Legal Intern certification.  The Registrar’s office has application forms.  You must accompany $25 with your application.  The Ohio Supreme Court clerk’s office will return the certification to the registrar’s office where you can pick it up.  For research and writing only placements, no certification is required.  

Students placed in Michigan placements do not need to apply for certification to represent government entities.
