Dress for Success- Fall Recruitment Fashion Show:

 

On Thursday, August 14th, WLSA is sponsoring a Fall Recruitment Fashion Show outside on the College of Law Patio.  Student models will demonstrate what to wear, and what not to wear in categories including men’s and women’s interview attire, and firm casual events.   Representatives from Ann Taylor and Men’s Warehouse will provide advice on selecting suits, and will provide discount coupons to all attendee’s.   Denise Mueller, President of the Toledo Women’s Bar Association will provide remarks on Interview Season Professionalism.

AIPLA 2008 JOB FAIR INFORMATION

 

Registration is now open! The 2008 Job Fair will be conducted and administered through the AIPLA Career Center. This is our 18th Annual Job Fair and is always held on the last day of our Annual Meeting. The Job Fair interview process will be held in person on Saturday, October 25, 2008 at the Marriott Wardman Park Hotel in Washington, DC from 11:00 am and continue throughout Saturday afternoon at half-hour intervals until 4:00 pm.

 

The Job Fair offers an excellent opportunity to bring together those who have positions available and those who are seeking employment, to conduct interviews and recruit employees. The 2007 Job Fair was very successful. Nearly 55 firms/corporations participated and more than 230 members were selected for interviews.

National Law Students Workers’ Rights Conference:

The Tenth Annual National Law Students Workers' Rights Conference will be held at the National Labor College in Silver Spring, MD on October 17 & 18, 2008.

2008 Fall Recruitment for Second- and Third-Year Law Students (Seattle, WA).   The Washington State Attorney General’s Office is recruiting for second- and third-year law students. Fall recruitment programs culminate in offers of summer clerkships for second-year law students, and offers of assistant attorney general positions for third-year law students.
