The Bureau's mission is to effectively regulate the safe operation of underground storage tanks and to ensure appropriate investigation and cleanup of releases from underground storage tanks for the purpose of protecting human health and the environment for the citizens of Ohio

 

Job Duties:

Assisting the Department of Commerce’s Bureau of Underground Storage Tank Regulations (“BUSTR”) legal and enforcement staff in file reviews, drafting administrative orders, correspondence and memorandum, responsible party searches, preparing exhibits, and doing legal research.

 

Qualifications:

A successful candidate must have completed his/her first year of law school including a class in property law, have excellent research and writing skills, a valid driver’s license, and an interest in protecting the environment.

 

Pay Range:

Second Year Graduate: $14.14/hr.

Third Year Graduate: $14.62/hr.

 

Term:

Position begins Tuesday, May 27, 2008 and lasts through summer period.
