Government & Public Interest Opportunities Forum at UT Law on Thursday, Jan. 30th-REGISTRATION NOW OPEN:

Wednesday, January 30th, 2008 from 6 - 8 p.m

The University of Toledo College of Law, Main Floor, Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick Lounge

Government & Public Interest Opportunities Forum 2008 will provide an opportunity for UT Law students to meet public interest and government employers, polish their informational interviewing skills, and learn about a variety of public interest organizations in a fun, fast-paced environment.

If you've heard of "speed dating", our program will sound familiar.  During the "speed networking" portion of the event, you will have the opportunity to sit down at a table and visit with an attorney.  Every ten minutes a bell will sound, and you will get up and move on to another table to talk with another attorney.  This will continue for approximately one hour, giving you the chance to talk with 6 employers.  A catered reception will follow allowing you the opportunity to talk with new employers or to follow-up with employers you talked with during speed networking.

Government & Public Interest Opportunities Forum 2008 is meant to provide you with the opportunity to learn from and network with attorneys working for government agencies or with public service organizations.  Although this event is not a job fair, it is an opportunity to make strategic networking connections.
