Ohio Bar Examination Registration & Application Info:

Students who intend to practice law in Ohio must file an "Application to Register as a Candidate for Admission to the Practice of Law" by NOVEMBER 15th of their second year.(This means those in their second year, whether day or evening, part-time or full-time.) Additional fees will be assessed by the Supreme Court for those registering after that date.

A separate Application must be filed with the Supreme Court of Ohio to sit for the Ohio bar examination.

Registration and application deadlines are as follows:

For a February bar exam:

Registration by August 15
Application by November 1

For a July bar exam:

Registration by January 15
Application by April 1
