Important Summer Parking Information
All May 2008 graduates who need access to law school facilities while studying for the Bar Exam this summer need to purchase a special parking pass for $33.50 at 1610 Rocket Hall, which will be valid during the Bar Study period. Please specify that you are a law student who is studying for the Bar Exam. Otherwise, you will be shuffled into the group of registered students who must pick up their passes at the Student Union this summer. (see below)
All continuing students who are registered for Summer law classes should have received notification in an e-mail from the University on May 7 about how and when to pick up your summer parking passes. To paraphrase that e-mail: Your passes will not be mailed out to you. Rather, you will need to pick up your permit at the Student Union, Ingman Room on Monday, May 19, Tuesday, May 20, or Wednesday, May 21, between the hours of 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Bring a photo-ID with you. (Rocket Card, Driver’s License). Since this is after the start of the Summer ’08 term, there will be NO TICKETING for failure to display a permit during the first two weeks of the term if you park in the white-lined areas. (Please note that you will be ticketed for parking in yellow-lined areas without a permit). Normal ticketing procedures will resume on May 26.
If you have any questions or problems with parking passes for the summer, please contact Asst. Dean Kathleen Amerkhanian at kathleen.amerkhanian@utoledo.edu or at 419.530.2937.
