Dr. Julie MacFarlane of the University of Windsor Law School, Ontario, Canada
"Divorce in The Muslim Community"

Dr. MacFarlane has been collecting data and interviewing members of  Muslim families, community leaders, Imams of the Muslim organizations and social workers over several years and she is in the final stages of publishing her results which will be forthcoming in the Oxford University Press.  Dr. MacFarlane's research work has been sponsored by ISPU, the Canadian Government and The University of Windsor Law School.

This lecture is open to the public including Law students, faculty staff members, family court lawyers, judges, social workers, family counselors, sociologists and the general public.  A flyer is attached.
