Deborah Kovac Rump is currently engaged in the private practice of law, limited to criminal matters. Most of her practice involves serious felony appeals; however, she is also retained to consult with other criminal attorneys on various issues including suppression motions, selective enforcement discovery issues, trial and plea strategies and sentencing issues in both state and federal courts. In addition, she serves as part-time Magistrate for the Maumee Municipal Court, overseeing criminal and civil dockets involving a variety of issues and proceedings when the Judge is not available.
Ms. Rump has a Juris Doctor from Santa Clara University and a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology and Political Science from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. She is co-chair of the Toledo Bar Association Diversity Committee and member of the St. Luke’s Hospital Board of Trustees.
