Brenda Majdalani currently serves as an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney in the Appellate Division of the Lucas County Prosecutor’s Office, in Toledo, Ohio. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education, Magna Cum Laude, from the University of Toledo (B.Ed. 1983), at which time she joined the Phi Kappa Phi Honorary Society. She received her Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Toledo (M.B.A. 1988), and her law degree from the University of Toledo, College of Law (J.D. 1988).
After graduation from law school, Ms. Majdalani clerked for the Honorable Charles Abood on a temporary basis at the Ohio Sixth District Court of Appeals and then pursued private practice for the next 6 years.
Since 1996, Ms. Majdalani has served as an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney in the Appellate Division of the Lucas County Prosecutor’s Office, representing the State of Ohio in felony, criminal appeals, in the Ohio Sixth District Court of Appeals, the Ohio Supreme Court and the U.S. Supreme Court.
Ms. Majdalani is a member of the Ohio bar, is a member of the Toledo Women's Bar Association, and is admitted to practice before the United States District Court, Northern District of Ohio, the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the U.S. Supreme Court.
