Our students regularly accept positions in Law firms across the nation.

  • Our talented student body of 500 comes from 30 states, 182 colleges and universities and 5 countries; Fall 2009 entering class of 182.
  • Our experienced faculty of national experts (over 35 books published) puts teaching and students first.
  • Our law students learn through service, reaching out to the community in our law clinics, public service externships and Pro Bono Volunteer Legal Services Program. (Last year, our students provided over 7000 hours of volunteer legal services to the poor, working with pro bono and legal aid lawyers.)
  • Our Professional Development programs expand the curriculum through sessions on the realities of the legal profession, job search skills, building core competencies required by modern practice, resume writing, interview techniques, and modern life skills for lawyers such as networking, business etiquette and presentation skills.
  • Our committed and engaged alumni are located in 48 states, Washington D.C. and 9 countries. They are available to guide students and include members of Congress, State Supreme Courts, and the federal judiciary, as well as leaders of law firms and major corporations.
  • Our local bench and bar and the Toledo Bar Association provide a welcoming and mentoring community for our students.

Scholarships worth approximately $1,500,000 are awarded each year to our first year students.
